Filberts [Hazel Nuts]

Hazelnuts are the nut of the hazel tree. They are sometimes called filberts or cobnuts. Oval in shape, these hearty little nuts are good to use in confectioneries and pair well with chocolate. Filberts are rich in protein, vitamin E, manganese and numerous other healthy fats and essential nutrients.
