Although olive oil has a strong-distinct flavor, it can be used in most baked recipes such as breads, muffins or brownies. To cut back on the flavor, you may want to use 1/2 cup of olive oil to 1/2 cup of corn or vegetable oil – this makes a great way of cutting saturated fat in your baking.

Olive oil is best as a low temperature cooking oil or in its raw form for salad dressings, etc. It is not recommended for high heat frying or roasting above 350 degrees.
